Mi Stap Lo PNG

This post is a collection of photos that didn't load in the last post. It's a random collection in a random order, but I'll write the captions and I'm sure you'll follow. Must improve my computer skills someday so this kind of thing doesn't happen! Thank you for your patience :) Enjoy the photos! PNG sure is a lush country with beauty all around. I'm loving it here :) Mi Stap Lo PNG means (roughly) I'm in PNG. Stap means to stay.

Th

I posted my last blog post and a whole bunch of it didn't upload, so here it is now :) Once again, it's completing jumbled, so please bear with me.... -I suppose the photos are lovely, no matter what order they are in.

Chris, Nicole and I played a game of Scrabble one evening! Many things in PNG gets mouldy because of the amount of rain and the humidity and even this Scrabble board suffered this fate.

A side ways shot..... sorry Dad, I know it annoys you! It's a stunning flower hey!

Some flowers decorating the drive way. These were placed here by the Lae City Mission boys to welcome Bruce, Dina and their girls back from their holidays in Switzerland and Australia. Such a thoughtful gesture!

I helped Nadia with some homeschooling for a few days and I did a lot of maths and literacy activities with the youngest two children. We did lots of practical activities and games which they loved :)

"My" students - Caleb Wildeboer and Louisa. Louisa is the daughter of the caretakers of the compound.

 Doing some painting!

Concentration levels are high!

The kids were really well behaved and we had lots of fun together.

So cute! The look of concentration :)

Impressive finished product

Free choice painting. Kids chose to paint their houses.

When Bruce and Dina arrived back from their holidays, the boys at LCM decorated the drive way with flowers and the gate and sign outside the front were beautifully decorated too. I was so impressed! It was just stunning - the flowers here sure are absolutely gorgeous! I love them so much. It's easy to make a vase of flowers look good because the flowers do all of the work :)

My flight in. Yes, the photos loaded in a jumbled order again.... sorry!

I love this - little hands holding pencils. A pretty good pencil grip too!

Caleb - finger painting is just the best, hey! Coolest little guy ever :) Fancy moving to Tassie to join my class next year, little buddy?!

Can't get enough of the beautiful flowers.

Or this view No filter! Just God's Handiwork.

Mindblowingly beautiful.

Driving in the rain. Dodging potholes. I love driving here. I have only scared myself once :) and that was just before the new tyres were put on the car and it was a bit wet and tyres skidded because they were getting a bit bald. It was a very minor situation, so don't freak out anyone :) I wasn't going fast at all! Maybe that was the problem?

The most amazing colours - better than a painting when you see it with your own eyes. Wow!

Waiting in Port Moresby to catch the flight to Lae. I love all of the colours.

Stay tuned.... more to follow.... soon.
Love Sarah xoxox
